A baseball team is having an end of the year party and the coach wants to purchase gloves and baseballs for the team. Gloves are sold in cases of 8 and baseballs are sold in cases of 12. 12 = 2 x 2 x 3

So,  L.C. M. (8,12) = 2 x 2 x 2x 3 = 24

Hence, the least number of gloves and baseball need to purchase = 24
