Passive communicators do all of the following except stand up for themselves when needed. Usually, passive people don't really do much to defend themselves and their opinions - they will normally let others talk them down and make them feel as if they aren't worth anything. They often avoid eye contact, speak apologetically even if they did nothing wrong, and allow others to take away their rights, just because they are afraid of saying anything.
