Primary Succession begins from scratch and it forms from desolate land. Primary Succession needs time to pass starting from rocks to lichens and mosses to grasses, etc. Secondary Succession, on the other hand, is formed from a disaster or human interaction on an ecosystem that was most likely in bad shape.
