basically u make it first into a mixed fraction:[tex]5 \frac{96}{100} [/tex]
simplify the 96/100 part to get :[tex]5 \frac{24}{25} [/tex]
and then convert to improper fraction by multiplying the denominator with the 5 and then adding the numerator (24) to get 149,which you then divide by the denominator (25) to get [tex] \frac{149}{25} [/tex] and Bam here is ur fraction :)
