I'm using problem A as an example in all the parenthesis

1. Combine any numbers with the same variable (or lack thereof) (subtract 4x and 10x)

2. Divide both sides of the equation by your answer (in this case your answer is -6)

3. "Bring down" the rest of the equation (-6x ≥ 12)

4. Subtract both sides by the coefficient (-6) (-6x ÷ -6, 12 ÷ -6)

5. Plug the answers you got into your equation and you've got your answer (x ≤ -2)

Note: If your coefficient is a negative number and you multiply or divide with it then flip the sign around! (So "<" becomes ">")

A coefficient would be the number with the variable next to it.

The equation is the entire problem

A variable is the letter(s) in your equation, in this case it would be x

Hope this makes sense! Sorry if I mess up anything or it's confusing, math is difficult. I'm answering this problem rn bc I'm stalling on my own math hw.
