Patrick Henry was one of the speakers who literally shouted at the British and called them lobster-backs. They joined up many colonists, as they all hated the fact that they had to pay with high taxes for things they didn't want. King George III enforced that the tea had to go ashore, and as soon as the tea went ashore, the taxes would immediately be forced, even if they didn't buy it. (I believe it was called the Townshed Acts, or the Stamp Act.)
