Let's assume that total employees are x .

Three - fifths of x is female employees .

→ Female employees = 3x/5 .

Then male employees will be :-

→ Male employees = x - 3x/5

So male employees are 2x/5 .

→ Employees under 18 = x/4

→ Female under 18 = one - third of total female employees.

→ Female under 18 = 3x/5 (1/3)

So Female employees under 18 are x/5 .

→ Now male under 18 = x/4 - x/5

  • So male under 18 are x/20

Now male above 18 are = 2x/5- x/20

  • Male above 18 are 7x/20

Ratio of Male above 18 : Male below 18

→ 7x/20 : x/20

→ 7 : 1

So the ratio is 7 : 1 .
