B. central vacuole
C. chloroplast
D. plasma membrane

I decided that B and C were incorrect since they contribute to helping with making food. My final answer was plasma. Would that be correct?

Respuesta :

Answer:as I think a plant cell can produce there own food so we should separate organelles which are found in the plant with that of the animal so cell wall , chloroplast and plasma membrane are characterstics of plant finaly the answer should be centeral vacoule which is the animal organelle

The cell, which is round and cannot produce its own food, has a plasma membrane.

TYPES OF CELL:

  • There are two major types of cell in biology namely: plant cell and animal cell. These two cells have characteristics they share in common and also that they have differently.

  • According to this question, a cell that is round and cannot produce its own food is an ANIMAL CELL because animals are heterotrophic i.e. cannot synthesize their own food.

An animal cell lacks the following organelles:

  • A chloroplast
  • A cell wall
  • A central vacuole

However, an animal cell like every other cell posseses a plasma or cell membrane.
