What Darwin Never Knew -

How do the HOX genes in the paddlefish match the HOX genes in humans?

Reality Check! Music, art, architecture, medicine.... are we really the only species that can do these?

How is the human hand different from the ape hand?

What are your thoughts on injecting mouse embryos with human genes?

Respuesta :

Although Darwin Observed that organism of  different species could be sorted out based on certain characteristics they possessed, He also knew that even though organism of the same species may look alike, they still possessed distinct characteristic which are inherited from parents of previous generations. However, Darwin never knew the mechanism  of heredity and genetics. He lacked knowledge of Gene.He never knew the reasons why offspring resembles their parents, and also failed to explain to principle of inheritable variation among organisms of the same species.

Thus he could not explain  How is the human hand different from the ape hand, because this is Variation.Because ape and man are closely related. And also how do the HOX genes in the paddlefish match the HOX genes in humans. C
