Do you think doing nails can be considered art? Why or why not? Is there anything a nail tech does that an artist also does? (painting, making designs, using lines, etc.) Is working on nails a career you think you would want to do? What was your favorite nail design in the video?

Answer:

It truly depends on what you’re making on the nails like if it’s just basic color (like one color ) it wouldn’t be art but I if. If there’s quiet a few colors on one Nail it would be abstract art and if there would be detain Andy stuff it would be called art

I think that anything that uses your left side of ur brain (the creative side) is considered art. If you created it its art! You have to have good hand eye coordination to be an artist and i haven’t seen a nail salon person with bad coordination yet lol. To do art you need a steady hand to do all of the things you listed. I personally wouldn’t choose that as my career because my hands are always pretty shaky.
