When you see a notification on it it means someone has requested to be your friend
All you do is click on it and accept but it has to be were it says invitations not friends
And you can also just click view profile click on the person and accept

Answer:
You will receive a notification once you get a friend request on the brainly website. You have the option of going to the friend tab, which looks like people. Click on that and you can x or check the request.
To send a friend request, go to the user's profile, and click the people looking button. It should appear faded as a clock in its place.
