In two similar rectangles, A and B, if rectangle A is twice as long and twice as
wide, then the Area of rectangle A is
times as much as the Area of
rectangle B.
Example: if the length and width were doubled, say if a rectangle was 5x5, it would now be 10x10. The old result would be 25 and the new one would be 100. That is 4 times the original result. This works for any example.
