The industrial revolution led to factories springing across England resulting in people leaving rural settlements to move into the new areas in search of employment and a better quality of living resulting in urbanization. It also led to a book in industry especially manufacturing and so it also greatly strengthened Britain's economy as well as the other areas the revolution spread to.
Causes for the Industrial Revolution, including: the emergence of capitalism(where business used profit to expand), European imperialism( extending power through military force), efforts to mine coal, and the effects of the Agricultural Revolution(that took place before in the 17th century).
