First of all students must be knows about the information about rocks ,the rocks are very important building blocks of earth.
Sedimentary Rocks:
rivers ,oceans, and winds , rain runoff all have the ability to carry the particles washed off of eroding rocks , the process is called detritus . and detritus is made of the fragments of rocks and minerals , so if the energy of transportation is very low to transport all these material then this process leads to sedimentation process .
The sedimentation process leads on following steps:
-Weathering: In this step the solid rocks transform to smaller particles.
-Erosion: This type of sediment will occurs by mass movements events e.g. lands sliding or rocks falls down.
-Transportation: This type of sediments will occurs when falling down rocks can be picked up by wind or by ruining of water or by streaming.
-Deposition: This type of sedimentation will occurs when speed of transformation of sediments becomes very low.
-Lithification: In this process the sediments turns to rock.
