HELP! Hey there :) I need help if someone could give me a thoughtful explanation of what a Monologue is. How (once you make it) it is supposed to be presented to a crowd. Is it a script? Is it a speach?

I am just very confused. If someone could just shed some knowledge I would really appreciate the help. WILL MARK BRAINLIEST :)

Answer:

A monologue is basically were only one person is talking. When you present it to a crowd it is only supposed to be you talking and no one else. A monologue is not a script because it takes two or more people to make a script. A monologue is basically a speech. You can talk to the audience or you can talk to just one person.  A monologue is supposed to have a purpose within it. For example, you could be trying to convince someone that you would not be a good person to date, or you could be trying to convince your mom that the party you want to go to is safe.

Explanation:

I made a monologue recently and it was me talking to the audience, I was trying to convince the audience on why they should pick me as the winner of the essay contest. One of my friends made their monologue where they were talking to their sister, and trying to convince her that she should break up with her boyfriend because he is bad for her. I hope this helps! Sorry if it does not!
