You are the director of a business development consultancy. Your team is required to present data in the next board meeting on the sales trends in the country. Your team, however, is broken up in to different units that each deal with a different section of analyses of the sales data.
Write an email request for action to your team asking them to compile information to be discussed at the next board meeting.

Steps to answer:
1. Your goal is to get the information for this topic. 

2. Give an intro "Dear Team" and a closing "Sincerely....." 

3. In the first paragraph give the general statement what you need: I need data for the next board meeting on the sales trends in the country. 

4. Second paragraph specifically ask people for what you need.

5. Closing with a thank you and a due date.
