Respuesta :

The circulation which distributes the blood rich in oxygen all throughout the body is the systematic circulation. The process caries the blood from the left ventricle, passing through the arteries, to the capillaries in the tissues of the body. From the tissue capillaries, the deoxygenated blood returns through a system of veins to the right atrium of the heart.

I believe the correct answer is systemic circulation.

Explanation:

Circulation is divided into 2 pathways i.e. the systemic pathway and pulmonary pathway. Systemic pathway supplies blood to the rest of the body while also pumping blood from the rest of the body to the heart while pulmonary circulation circulates blood to and from the lungs for oxygenation from the right ventricle.

Further Explanation:

Systemic circulation functions to provide nutrient rich and oxygenated blood to tissues everywhere in the body while carrying away the blood with carbon dioxide and waste material. It starts from the left ventricle after arriving from the lungs where it had gone to for oxygenation. The oxygenated blood is taken to the tissues via arteries that supplies to capillaries which in turn supplies to the tissues. On the other side, capillaries pick up blood that is deoxygenated and contains carbondioxide and waste material and deliver them to the veins which transport the deoxygenated blood to the riight atrium of the heart. The right atrium will pass the blood to the right ventricle. From there onwards, the blood will enter thepulmonary circulation pathway where the blood is supplied to the lungs for oxygenation. The systemic circulation also supplies the heart muscles with oxygenated blood via an artery called the coronary artery which receives blood from the ascending aorta. The systemic circulation is divided into the region thatsupplies the upper extremities via the branchiocephalic artery, the carotid arteries and the subclavian arteries. The lower extremities are supplied by major cephalic trunk. The carotid arteries supply blood to the brain. Kidneys and the liver function to detoxify and clean the blood so that no waste or toxins can be in circulation. The arteries lack valves so blood is pumped in pulses and is what you feel like a pumping pulse. Blood in the arteries also has a higher pressure compared to the veins. The low pressure in veins is the reason why they have the valves to prevent back flow.
