1. For the Piano
The piano first known as the pianoforte evolved from the harpsichord around 1700 to 1720, by Italian inventor Bartolomeo Cristofori. Harpsichord manufacturers wanted to make an instrument with a better dynamic response than the harpsichord.
The Piano today resembles still in the current form that it has back in the day however now we have electronic Pianos which the older versions resemble.
2. For the Lute
In the Renaissance era, the lute was the most popular instrument in the Western world. It became the symbol of the magic and power of music. The lute was the instrument of kings and queens, playing the sublime music of great composers. The lute was heard in the theatre in the incidental music of Shakespeare's plays.
Today the Lute resembles much like guitars which are used more frequently in our current year and has been more popular among society. lutes are not as common as they were back in the Renaissance era but are remembered by current instruments like guitar.
