Answer:

What I know:

The holocaust was the world war 2 genocide of European Jews. It happened between 1941-1945. Around 6 million Jews were killed.

What I want to learn:

Why were Jews a target? Or a threat? How was Hitler able to get away with capturing and torturing Jews for so long?

What I know:

- To the Nazi leader Adolf Hitler, Jews were an inferior race who seemed to not fit his standards of the people he wanted in his country.

- Nazis believed that only Aryan people should be in Germany (people with light/blonde hair and light/blue eyes with fair skin and a skinny/fit appearance)

- Genocide of the Jews. The Nazis had killed just about 6 million jews.

- The holocaust lasted for 4 years.

- There were mainly concentration camps in Germany and Poland

- One of the most popular concentration camps was Auschwitz-Birkenau

- Many people had died in gas chambers if they didn't starve or work themselves to death.

What I want to know:

- Why didn't they like jews?

- What had fueled Hitler's hatred towards jews?

- Why did they idolize the idea of a country of aryans so badly?

- Why did they make more people suffer than others?

- How come the concentration camps managed to stay up for so long without anyone saying anything about it, or questioning it?
