x + y = 5....x = 5 - y
4x + 3y = 33

4(5 - y) + 3y = 33
20 - 4y + 3y = 33
20 - y = 33
20 - 33 = y
-13 = y

x + y = 5
x - 13 = 5
x = 13 + 5
x = 18

so ur 2 numbers are 18 and -13
