Every fraction that it's numerator is not over it's denominator is between zero and one and the fraction needs to be positive
Every fraction that it's numerator is not over it's denominator is between zero and one and the fraction needs to be positive
a fraction is defined as as part of one,
think of it like this
you have 1 pie
your brother cuts it into 4 pieces
you take 1
you took 1 out of 4 or 1/4 pie
so fractions
you have a numberator (top) and denomenator (bottom)
the numberator tells how many pieces you have
the denomenator tells how many pieces are needed to make 1 whole pie
so a fraction is normally where the deomenator is bigger than the numerator
so some fractions
1/2
1/3
1/4
1/5
1/6
2/5
3/7
2/2333
4/9
