The answer is B because Throughout the play Caesar shows that he is very stubborn and proud like when his wife tells him not to go to the senate meeting because she had a dream he would die but a fellow senator told him that it would make him look week to the others if he didn't go even as his wife pleaded for him to not go. If The Senators adored him like the peasants did then Cassiuss wouldn't have been able to convince the others to conspire against Caesar to kill him. The play is called Julius Caesar so of course he is essential to the plot.
