I believe it's oxygenated or oxygen rich blood away from the heart.
  • An artery carries oxygenated blood away from the heart.
  • The oxygenated blood that enters from the pulmonary veins to the left side of the heart.
  • The oxygenated blood flows from the left atrium to the left ventricle and finally into the aorta and then several arteries carry the oxygenated blood to the different organs of the body.
  • Thus the oxygenated blood is carried by the arteries away from the heart and towards the tissues to supply oxygen to them .
