Molarity refers to the number of moles of solute in solution. The molarity of the solution is 0.64M
What is concentration?
The term concentration refers to the amount of substance in solution.
Now we are told that there is 11.5% w/v of the glucose present. This means that there is 11.5g of glucose in 100mL of solution. To find the molarity of the solution;
Number of moles of glucose = 11.5g/180.16g/mol = 0.064 moles
Molarity = Number of moles/volume = 0.064 moles/100 * 10^-3 L
= 0.64M
