Photosynthesis is the process plants use to make their own food. So because we have plants that have photosynthesis they are able to feed themselves while growing food for other organisms on the planet so it benefits other living organisms dramatically. Without photosynthesis plants wouldn't be able to create food so it wouldn't give plants the energy they need to produce food for other organisms.
