Explain the difference between homozygous and heterozygous using genotypes and phenotypes of offsprings as your example. For example genotype would look like (Ff) and the phenotype would describe the genotype for example the offspring has black fur.

For homozygous: an homozygous individual can carry similar alleles for a trait for example similar dominant alleles (FF) as the genotype and show a phenotype of black fur for the dominant allele and an homozygous individual can also carry the recessive allele (ff) as the genotype but show a phenotype of white fur

But for the heterozygous individual: the individual carries two disimilar alleles for a trait eg carry both the dominant and the recessive alleles. For example (Ff) as the genotype and showing black fur as the phenotype.
