Answer:
The things that I would alter in my presentation to appeal to the audience of my age would include:
- The reasons for lack of clean water and why it is a problem.
- Images that shows how people in some area are forced to drink unclean water.
- Statistics of unclean water comparing the United States and other countries.
Explanation:
An appeal to the audience is a mode of persuasion in which the audience analyze the credibility of the speaker, whether the speaker is aware of the topic he/she is speaking about.
- When a speaker gives a presentation to his peer group to persuade them to raise funds for the clean water, he/she should add facts and statistics in his/her presentation.
- When statistics are included in the presentation, it helps the audience to know the real picture of the problem or how serious the problem is.
- The presentation also should include the reasons why lack of clean water is considered a problem.
- It should also include images that show pictures of how people are forced to drink unclean water because of a lack of clean water in the area.
Answer:
If I were presenting to a group of people my age, I would spend more time explaining why the lack of clean water is a problem. I would also try to make more connections to my peers’ own lives by using images that show the actual drinking water some people are forced to drink. I would also show statistics like the difference between people in the United States and people in other countries to open their eyes to a global problem they might not be aware of.
