An unjust law is characterized by being contrary to Justice, that is, contrary to the greater objective of giving each one what belongs to him. In these laws, the rule becomes useless in the function for which it is intended, and an injustice occurs.

But we as a society have the strength and power to change unjust laws, like making protests, marches, demonstrations, so that our role is fulfilled as citizens and so that justice can be done.

An unjust law can be defined as a body of binding rules and regulations, customs and standards established in a society by it's legislative and judicial authorities that is characterized with being unfair and unfavorable to the society at large.
