Finding new stars in the cosmos.
They perform mathematical and physical models of the behaviors of the different stars in the universe.

An astronomer works in a laboratory, either for the government or for a private firm, analyzing data and information or programming applications that allow to carry out exploration activities much easier than those that exist today.

) Three Reasons

It serves to search for planets where the conditions of life are similar to or equal to those of Planet Earth, and to propose a possible colonization.
Determine the chemical elements that are part of an asteroid or distant planet.
Warn of possible future asteroid collisions with Planet Earth, design models of protection against this eventuality.

) Studies required

The aspirant for this type of study must have knowledge and mathematical and physical aptitude, passion for observing behaviors of physical models. You must complete a 4-year study to obtain a diploma in undergraduate studies, after a 2-year study to obtain a master's degree and 4-year study to have a doctorate.
