Why do you consider this person a leader? The way she always try to help everyone accomplish their goals and she will go an extra mile in helping students even those who have left high school. They all still come back to her , seeking help and as always she will give their time and share her wisdom whilst she practical guides them through what ever goals they want to achieve. She even opened an after school mentorship program to help students.
What leadership characteristics do they have?
Integrity, honesty , humility , focused , inventive , courageous, open to critisism and clear vision.

She was going to be chosen into a position that will require her to abandon some of her commitments to the students instead of going for that position she choose to stay in her position in order to continue assisting the students further their studies and reach their goals. That to me was humility , choosing to be not in the lime light but still lead where you are.

- Someone who I feel is a leader, is the Mayor of my community. He is a kind person but I consider him as a leader because of the empathy he has towards those whom he leads. Once, when my community suffered from a storm that left our houses drenched with flood, he worked hard with other relief workers to ensure that we were evacuated from our houses and relocated to safe zones. He thus displayed empathy which I admire.
