MINTO sales eat into competitor cookie sales: If the new cookie emerges to be a competition to other products in the market except that of Nabisco's, there would be no cannibalization effect.
MINTO is bought by consumers who never ate any cookies before: If MINTO gets a new customer base of itself, that wouldn't be considered as cannibalization either.
MINTO is bought as "additional purchase" by Nabisco's current customers: If the sale of MINTO does not hinder the sale of the other product of Nabisco and is preferred by the customers as an additional product, it would not result in cannibalization.
