a I've been so lonely but now it's time to find.
b Something, or somebody I know is worth my time.
a And what's worth more than a friend that everyone likes.
b Who does good, loves, and never ever lies.

c Whenever you're sad, the friend is there to cry.
d And when you need help, she gives her best to try.
c When you're broken down, and have the same pain you've felt a thousand times.
d She doesn't leave. She loves you with her life.

e I've not known a friend like this yet.
f We may have, or maybe we've never met.
e The older I am, the worse the solitude gets.
f The less likely I am, to ever find this friend.

g From now on, when I see someone cry.
g I'll be the friend they never found in life.
