Add 4 to each side so it’s 0=8+4x
Then minus 8 from each side so it’s -8 =4x and divide each side by 4 because there is 4x right now and u need to find just one x so it’s -2=x
a. -2 = x
b. (-4 x -2) - 4 = 4
8-4=4
4=4
