First , we have to calculate the stretch of road of the second car : 2hours x 40 mph = 80 miles We know that the first car further than the second car 10 miles . Therefore we have to add 80 miles and 10 miles : 80+10= 90 miles Lastly, find the time that the first car need to have : 90 miles : 50mph = 1,8 hours ( im a Vietnamese .
