•Leila ran 3 laps in 7 minutes
•Maria ran 1 laps in 3 minutes

What advice would you give the coach if you want to convince her to choose the better runner? Be sure to include evidence to help persuade her.

As you can see, per each individual lap Leila runs faster.

However, this value could change over larger distances, therefore, I recommend you get them to run larger distances and compare their times.
