I don't want to specifically be given the answers flat out but if anyone could explain how to answer the following questions please do! I have forgotten how to do this and I really need help!

Here's the directions:
Rewrite the sentences to make them parallel.

1. The old outboard motor sputtered, was coughing, and finally died.

2. The professor told Marsha that she had two options, to make up the work she missed or dropping the course.

3. Do you like to go for walks or jogging in the park?
