Ebenezer Scrooge is the main character in the classic book "A Christmas Carol" by Charles Dickens. In this story, Scrooge is an old man who is very greedy. He cares only about money, and has little concern for other people's suffering or well-being. Because of this, he also does not care about Christmas.
However, on the night before Christmas, Scrooge is visited by a series of ghosts who show him his past, present and future. After this experience, Scrooge is forced to reexamine his values. He changes his ways and becomes a kinder, more compassionate person.
Based on this information, we would have to conclude that Scrooge is a round character. This is because he has many characteristics that make him resemble people in real life. Moreover, he is also a complex character who undergoes a great transformation throughout the story, as opposed to a flat character, which is one that remains the same throughout a story.
