The weight of the cardinal (in ounces) is 0.6x + 11 after its eats x ounces of bird seed. How much does it weigh after it eats 2 ounces of bird seed?

Hey Dammy17,
Ok so what we need to do is "plug in" 2oz for x in the equation, 

So, 0.6 (2) + 11 = 
      0.12 + 11= 11.12 oz is the finishing weight.
