Answer:
My position is: with dedication, persistence, and time, people can accomplish any goal.
Explanation:
We have several examples of people around the planet who have accomplished what seemed impossible. People who came from a background of extreme poverty, of deprivation, even abuse. I once read about a famous sushi master in Japan, for instance, who was kicked out from home by his own father at the age of 7. He is now the owner of a famous restaurant and serves dishes worth 300 dollars.
What great accomplishers have in common is their persistence. They choose to accept difficulties as a permanent feature of life that must be overcome constantly, relentlessly. They do not retreat into a corner, defeated, victimized. They see all the possibilities life has to offer. But they also see the obstacles they will have to face to achieve those possibilities. And they don’t fear them.
Positivity has a powerful effect over what one can or cannot do in life. If a person does not believe in limitations, there is very little they cannot achieve. On the other hand, a pessimistic person tends to quit before even trying. They do not see the purpose of suffering or working hard if they are going to fail anyway.
I read somewhere that successful people are not the ones who have never failed. It’s actually quite the opposite: they’re the ones who have failed more than most people. But that is precisely their secret to success. Because they keep on trying, because they refuse to see failure as a defeat and choose to see it as an opportunity to learn instead, they eventually get to the goal they dreamed about.
Anything can be achieved with time, effort, persistence, and dedication. For some, it might take longer than it does for others. People who have more money or access to education obviously have the upper hand. Still, no matter what their starting point is, if people choose to never give up, they will certainly go beyond limitations and expectations.
