Different types of producers that can be found in a rain forest are:

Trees, such as cecropia trees, ceiba trees, etc. Trees are the most common producers in a rain forest. Cecropia trees, for instance, grow extremely quickly. Their seeds are transferred through animals' digestive tracts and thus planted again at new growing areas.
Algae can be found on the water surfaces and are simple cellular plants, that differ from the trees in that they have no stems, roots and flowers.
Rattan, a vine-like plant that belongs to the palm family, grows up from the earth and uses the trees as a support so as to reach sunlight. It can grow up to 600 feet.
