There are two ways in which an organizer can assist in taking notes:

1. It helps one make connections between different topics. (concept maps are really good for this)

2. It allows one to identify the main topics and subtopics. (outlines are great for this purpose)

An organizer is a computerized software which has built in applications for notes, calendar, to-dos, diary and scheduler which aims at assisting an individual or a student accomplish more task at home or in school.

A Graphic  organizer is the best bet for student as it comprises of  text and visuals and how they connect to each other, Two ways which an organizer can help are:

  • An organizer helps a student to take down important points, objectives, terms and summary during lectures
  • It provides easy access to important notes on lectures, as it can be carried about unlike books.
