How WW1 Started: Because of the assassination of archduke Franz Ferdinand. Then Austria-Hungry declares war on Serbia on July 28, 1914. But in August 4, 1914, Germany invades Belgium, leading the Britains to declare war on Germany, so by August 10, 1914, Austria-Hungry invades Russia.
