A user calls you, complaining that he can't access the corporate intranet web server. You try the same address, and you receive a Host Not Found error. Explanation: Web server is used by the users for transferring ,storing,  processing the web pages towards the clients .As other users are facing the problem in accessing server service , the probability is having any web server issue.

The emails and files can be transferred from one server to another, so the network is working fine. Thus, there are chances of web server being down or some other issue related with server accessing.
