For the Rate of change one. To find out rate of change you do rise over run. So for example if you want to get from point A to point B you have to first calculate how many spaces it goes up then how many spaces left or right. Left and down is negative so it would end up as a fraction for your rate of change. To explain more: if you went up 2 left 6 the rate of change would be 2/-6. I hope this helps!
