Explanation:

love can cause nostalgia. Have you ever fallen for two people? You date one, but you want to be with the other. Then you break up with the 1st one and then date the other, only to start liking the 1st person again. That is a form of nostalgia.

I hope this helps!

Hey there, how are you? It’s been a long time!

Nostalgia my friend is a feeling that often comes and goes. It can be triggered by the smallest things such as a conversation or even a memory. Nostalgia is there sometimes, it’s a familiar feeling that overcomes you and the memory of the past is bittersweet because there is a sense of lost. However, in the end those feelings can cause comfort. Nostalgia is caused when things go wrong, when you’re a failure, when there is no purpose in your life, when you are lonely and homesick that’s when those feelings appear the most. Nostalgia is there as a comforter.

Now, how to get rid of those feelings of nostalgia? Nostalgia can affect anyone. Amytis, daughter of the Median King Astiages, seemed to have every reason to be happy: wealth, prestige, and a beautiful home. However, she missed the mountains of Media so much that her husband, King Nebuchadnezzar, built the gardens of Babylon to comfort her. That’s a way to make the best out of a situation. She couldn’t have the mountains of Media so the King brought the mountains of Media to her. Homesickness can especially become a test in cases where life seems more difficult than before moving in. When the people of Judah went into exile, they lamented: “By the rivers of Babylon… there we sat. We also cry when we remember Zion. How can we sing Jehovah's song on foreign soil?” (Psalm 137: 1, 4.) To get rid of nostalgia we need to be realistic, view our current situation and adapt. Also, we can’t focus on what hurts us, we need to self-evaluate and self-examine ourselves. We need to get rid of our burdens through activities- healthy ones- and pray a lot.
