Identify the x- intercepts of the graphed function.

A. none

B. -1 and 1

It seems to obviously be 1 and -1, but on the previous question, the increasing intervals were listed as (-1, 0) u (1, infinity), suggesting that -1 and 1 are not included points of the function. Would it still be -1 and 1?

EDIT: The intercepts are indeed -1 and 1, the correct answer is B.

The increasing intervals are listed as (-1, 0) u (1, infinity) not because -1 and 1 are not included points of the function, but because the function is not differentiable in those points, so you can't tell whether the function is increasing or decreasing there.
