First you must know if the graph is going down or up (which is by looking rather the "m" is positive or negative)

If negative... then you start from up and then go down (from left to right)

if it was positive, it would start below and go up (from left to right)

and the slope is (rise over run) so that means you rise up or down first adn then run to the right, which in this case the slope would be:

so rise down (since 2 is negative) and run to the right by 1

and you do this pattern repeatedly with the rest of the points
