What are factors affecting hair growth?
Hairs are the fastest growing parts of the our body except for the bone marrow, which is a visceral organ. Hair can grow on any part of the body except the lips, palms and the soles of the feet.
Hair is grown from hair follicles which arises from the roots of hair. The hair roots are made up of protein cells. These cells get their nutrients from blood circulation.
The multiplication of these cells allows for the hair follicles to grow out of the skin. The growing hair passed through oil follicles which give the hair its shiny texture.
When the hair grows out of the skin, it's dead. By the time the new hair grows underneath it, it pushes the previous hair and it falls down.
Various factors affect the growth of hair. These are diet of a person, environmental conditions, genetics etc
