The subject of the sentence We loved our new bunk beds is we.
Loved is the predicate, and our new bunk beds is the object.

In the sentence: We loved our new bunk beds.  

WE (subject) loved (predicator)  our new bunk beds (D.object).

If in a sentence you are able to find the verb, but not the subject, you can find the verb for example,ask the following question: Who loved the new bunk beds? then you will find the subject easily.
