A rectangular bedroom floor has an area of 100 square feet and a length of 10 feet. What is the perimeter of the floor?

the perimeter is 40 feet.

since one side of the floor is 10, you divide 100 by 10 and the other side is 10.
  So we have both equal sides. That means all of the sides will be the same. 10+10+10+10=40 
The perimeter of the floor is 40 ft.
